Lost in between
In this drawing, Julie Impens represents a newborn who woke up in a terrifying fog. For this young spirit not used to travel between the tangible and untangible worlds, the fear of being lost, of losing his grip on the small of reality he knows, is suffocating. But his spirit is already catching up with reality and soon the familiarity of his surrounding would be enough for him to be in peace and totaly disconnect from this enigmatic world he had just visited.
Perdu dans l'entre-deux
Dans ce dessin, Julie Impens represente un nouveau né, venant à peine de se réveiller, perdu dans un terrifiant brouillard. Pour ce jeune esprit, pas encore habitué au voyage entre les mondes du tangible et de l’intangible, la peur de l’égarement et la perte de repère du peu de réalité qu’il connait jusqu’ alors sont ettoufantes. Mais son esprit rattrape déja sa course avec la réalité, et bientôt, la familirité de son environement sera suffisante pour qu’il retrouve la paix et qu’il oublie se monde énigmatique qu’il vient de visiter.
